Default Horn stopped working... Where to look to fix?

Well there was this old man I needed to pull up a bit at the light. Hit the horn and..... nothing. Went out. Had just worked this morning. Had to wait for the light to turn green to turn.

I have never had a horn stop working. I don't even know where to start looking to fix it.

Anybody have any suggestions?

I live in Chicago so I kind of need my horn going into the alley into my garage spot. Not to mention all the morons I need to honk at. I don't have any ambitions of being a patient driver who doesn't honk at people. I guess I could just angrily rev my engine but it's just not the same.

I'd start at the horn connection, check for power and ground at theat point with someone pressing the horn button, then check to see if there is a horn fuse or relay. Last to check if all those are good would be connection in steering wheel and clock spring.

On the other hand- might be the best that could happen to you.
Cool down. No one is going to move because of your big (mouth) horn.

Fuse is good, no power to either horn. My guess is the clock spring thing with spinning harness in it went bad.

Don't get testy bc you are old.just trying to add some humor to the post. You realize the REAL issue here is that if it is the clock spring, then the airbag won't work right?
