Default Engine turned off on stop light

Hi there, my engine turned off when I was closing up on a stop light. As I tried to start it again, the started cranked, but the car wouldn't start for a couple minutes. As it finally started back up the "engine service soon" light came on. The same thing happened again a couple minutes later, and about 10 min later, the slip and the tcs off light came on as well. Has anyone had the problem before, or any idea waft it could be? Thank you for your help.

You will be replacing the camshaft position sensors and probably the crankshaft position sensors.

When you pull codes for the offending components, it will probably be either the camshaft or crankshaft sensors, but not both. In fact you may be having issue with both.

Look at the code you pull, and then decide what you will replace.

You can pull the code yourself if you don't want to wait. Odds are it's the cam pos sensor. Pretty easy fix
