Default Exhaust combos

What’s the best sounding exhaust combinations? Starting with test pipes then y pipe. I think I decided on going non resonated t/p. Still hesitant on which brand and haven’t decided on y pipe either.

Motordyne makes solid products. You get what you pay for. I love my Bassani system, but it's all very subjective. For example, I've always thought the TDX2 and Invidia systems were/are over the top loud to the point of irritation. I also never liked the burnt titanium tip look (very ricer imo). Louder doesn't equal more power. You have to ask yourself, are you looking for an actual performance gain or just going after cosmetics? Of course you can have both, but the trend these days seems to be heavily focused on how loud (cosmetic) the exhaust is over everything else.

I'm running Z1 test pipes and a Fast Intentions 2.5" true dual. It sounds amazing at WOT, nice at idle but does drone at 1800 rpm. These are made to order and they just dropped the price by $250. The best way to avoid drone on any system is either resonated test pipes or high flow cats.
"Best" is subjective, don't rely on YT sound clips, go to a local meet and listen live.

I got Tomei headers, Berk HFC and HKS twin (not Hi-power) sounds nice but it's about $4000 so not for everyone lol.

Any installation/fit issues with HKS twin? Going to install new exhaust in spring (when I get car out of storage) and am deciding between HKS and Stillen. Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Had an HKS on my 91 Talon and liked it so will probably go with HKS over Stillen.
