Default Exhaust Sound

Just wanted to get on here real quick and see if this sound when I’m shifting is normal or not, the car does have invidia test pipes and is tuned, etc but I just figured I’d get some feedback on it, thanks! (It is an HR as well)

is that what you think it sounds like? I have different maps including a burble map and all that but It wasn’t on when I was racing, to me when im in the car it sounds more of a backfire it doesn’t necessarily sound like a grind to me it sounds like it’s coming from behind me which is where the exhaust is obviously but I’m sure you know more having been experiencing it, the car only does it when I’m at high rpms and I’m banging gears

No. But as odd as it sounds I’m thinking it has to do with my injectors being maxed, my duty cycle is at 92% which is what my tuner told me and so what I’m assuming is that at high rpms and me shifting quickly it’s quickly trying to dump fuel and with them being ran harder than normal it’s almost trying to create a type of backfire from all of the built up compression it’s creating if that makes sense

You should not be running the car until you get bigger injectors, the max you want to run is 85%

Yeah I didn’t think to even ask about my duty cycle but I haven’t ran the car since and I don’t plan to until I swap injectors but I already have some picked out and I figured I’d go e as well when I do upgrade the injectors, appreciate the help!

No problem, just make sure you go big enough for ethanol since it uses a lot more fuel.

what's your setup 600cc may not be enough, if you are going for 600cc might want to bump it to 1000cc.

just currently fbo and tuned, my tuner said the 1000cc would be pointless since I’m not running boost as of now that’s why he recommended the 600cc Injectors he has
