Default Performance chip - need advice G-Force

I have a 2004 Base MT and only have it a few months. It runs well, no issues. The car came with this G-Force Performance chip, rigged in very poorly. It is wired to a harness at the CAI. I have no idea what it does, or am I better off removing it?

Is it programmed or do I access it with a laptop? Car is used for normal driving around, no real hot rod stuff.

Thanks so much for that link. Very helpful. I will cut the tape back and see what I need to do to remove it and hopefully see no impact to the way the engine runs. I love these forums - so much knowledge and experience to share. When I get it out, I will open it up and post the pics.

^ it was just a google search. Not a lot of firsts any more, but in all these years, this may have been the first time someone may had that thing installed on their Z (I know it came with your car)...And based on your other post, the car looks to be in good shape so hopefully you have a lot of fun seat-time ahead. I remember when my car had <80K. Just ticked over 150K.

As requested - here are the pics for the mystery G Force performance chip. Also included are pics of my harness to the CAI. Seems like at one time there were some guides/securing points for the harness. Not that it moves a lot. If anyone can post a pic of what it ought to look like I would appreciate it.
TIA.

Probably a series of resistors to trick the ECM into adding more fuel. Its not power and ground more like inlet and outlet

I doubt it's even that. Two 12g wires into an FR4 board with no PCB and NO BUS going anywhere?? Hahahhahahahahahaha, good'un, damn felon.
