Hey guys, I have encountered strange yet subtle knocking sound. It does not sound like rod knock, it comes from top of the engine, could it be valve lifter caps? We recently done valves into seats so it would make most sence since knocking is in same timing all the time.. Also knocking is possible to be heard only from drivers side but strangely when I come and listen with screw driver I think that noice is comming from passenger side.. It could also be slightly heard from cabin if clutch is pressed.. All info would be very useful, thanks in advance! (side info, clutch bearing was done just 130km before as well as complete engine clearing, pull, inspection and reseal as well as that unfortunate valves..
video is below. I appreciate any piece of advice

Hi Dudo,
This is a tricky scenario to diagnose over the interwebs. The knock is low pitch vs. the higher pitch clatter commonly associated with valve lash. I know you did the screwdriver to the ear listen test, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a bottom end knock. I would seek out an honest professional shop to get an opinion on that knocking sound. It may not be an issue for the moment, but could be an early warning for something more serious.

Hi, thank you for reply. Wouldn’t that mean weird oil pressures if it was either of top or bottom end ? My oil pressures are as before 28-30psi while idle and about 58-60 psi at 2k rpm on 5w30
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Not necessarily. If you have a partially spun rod bearing, I don't think oil pressure reading would be a reliable indicator. When you refreshed the valve guide seals, did you do this with the heads on the block or fully removed? Did you lap the valves and inspect each? I assume none of them were bent or damaged? Lastly, when you re-assembled the heads, did you check the gaps between the valve spring buckets and the cams?

Yes we did check all of that and everything seemed ok.. Buckets were also almost all in spec, few had little bigger gap and few a little lesser tho.. So That is why I think that that is an issue
Also all checks were done with heads removed from block
