Hey guys...Do you know a kick *** reliable mechanic that will add my mods to my 04' Z roadster. I want someone that has a very good knowledge of installing exhausts, CAI, HF Cats, Plenums and maybe my new front grill.

I just got a quote for 90.00 per/hr from my local Nissan dealer and when I looked in the back of the shop they were looking a bit shady. I think they may take 4 hrs for my grill alone, LOL.

I am looking to build a relationship with a good trustworthy car freak guy.

find a good reputable aftermarket tuner. they usually have very competitive labor rates and are accustomed to your types of install, which is the total opposite of most dealership guys(not all)

 

If your anywhere around Orlando you can go to Racing Zone. One of the guys that works their(Brian) owns the orange Z that was @ SEMA @ the Volk booth. They do pretty good work as far as I know. http://www.racingzoneautohouse.com Most of the stuff you mentioned you can easily do yourself with jackstands/ramp and a good set of sockets. If you want any stereo stuff done go to Ultimate Audio, they have 4 locations around town.

 

If you're in the Palm Beach area, my installer is great. Co-president of the South Florida Z Car Club and also has a performance shop. His work is top notch.

the CAI you can do it yourself, it is very easy to do, i did mine.

 

I've heard very good things about Miami Muffler, which is south in the Kendall area. I haven't been there yet, but my friends who have had custom exhaust work done to their car say that's the place to go to for any installation and custom work you want done.
