Hi guys! I wanted to share the process of shaving off the door handles on our z’s. I believe the contour of the car suits the rat rod stole custom fab EXTREMELY well! While doing it I kept having a kit in mind later on down the road and currently that’s what I’m working on as well as different mirror placement. Possibly either custom fabbed pop up lights for a 350 or older rx7 mirrors on fenders style fab. I’ve been taking suggestions and any are welcome! I mostly do custom fabrication and paint work, and my z has been my canvas of choice lately!

My buddy did this to his car over 15 years ago, he would pull a rod under his fender to pop the door open, lol.
I'm indifferent to it, but good job!

 

My friend did this as well on his 370Z, it looked good because the 370Z handles are huge. He uses the car remote to roll down the window to unlock it. That's the only way for him.
