Howdy,

So I was headed home in my 2006 350z got about 100k miles on it. Was doing a pull in 5th gear, hit about 110MPH and it suddenly went into neutral. I threw it back into 5th no issue then 6th and cruised on home with no issues at the time. Upon passing two lights and heading up hill, my car started to bog and as I was pulling into the parking lot it died. Starting the car, it bogs then dies, it tries to stay on but fails to do so. When I press the clutch down, it'll die sometimes but not all the time.

When I have it in first gear and try to go, it'll roll but I can't get anywhere with it, it just dies.

My battery is 100% fine, Bought it about 1-2 months ago voltage says it's good on the dash. Oil I need to change tomorrow due to me coming up to my mileage marker. My fuel is low it says about 46 DTE.

Would anyone happen to know the issues by any chance? Please help me out.

Check engline lights are for Cat removal and Neutral safety switch which have been on since I bought the vehicle.

 

Pull codes?

 

Start by putting some gas in it.

 

agreed, start with putting in fuel, I would not trust the DTE distance till empty completely

The car bogs and you have a code for missing cats. Where is your question? Which cats to replace with? Should I get it tuned to run wo cats?Or why won't it go faster than 110mph?

 

Start with the simple stuff first. If there's a doubt about the fuel level, put some gas in it. Disconnect your negative battery cable afterwards to see if the ECU will reset, then try starting it. Keep us posted. Good luck.
