Ballpark HP# from a Vortec V3 Supercharger
I have an idea on what I want to do with my 04 but it seems a little difficult to get info on a built DE engine. It's pretty common for me to come across forums and people that say that low compression is going to ruin power gains for superchargers and its better to go with stock or maybe higher compression. The only options for a DE is either 8.8:1 or 11:1 pistons so I can't really go with 8.8 so it leaves me with 11:1. Cams are a huge question for me, would the 271 duration C8 JWT cams too aggressive for boost or go with something like I think its 264 duration and I think the name is PonCams??? I want to have something that's daily drivable so maybe something with less duration, in the end I would like to have between 500-600whp. Also what's this upgraded spindle that you can buy for the supercharger? And for pulleys I may want to use the 2.87

Use the 8.8 pistons and put an F1 running 30 psi. You'll make one millllllion HP.
Seriously, Use the 11:1's, a small cam and the bolt-on Vortec kit. It won't make over 500hp, but it'll be more power than your tires can put down on the street. No rwd car is really using more that 500 whp on the street.

I'm at about 470 with the V3 and a Treadstone 12. Yes, it was expensive but worth it. Completely different car.

Im not on vortec but am on the procharger... im 420 to the wheels with their highest boost pulleys. At mile high im getting 12psi on stock DE. Definitely more than i can use other than breaking loose for corner slides.
