Default Need help ordering Piston Rings

Hello I’m rebuilding my Revup due to excessive smoke from the rings. I had just one question, In the service manual it says the Top and 2nd ring gap in cylinder should be between 0.23 - 0.33mm with a 0.54mm Limit (idk what this means) I am getting a measurement of 0.45mm for both rings. Should I order oversized rings or would I just go with standard size. I have yet to hone the block yet.

Thank you,

A new ring should be within the first specs. The limit is the wear limit

Thanks! That makes sense thanks for the clarification. Do you think the standard would put me in spec?
