Default Rear strut bar cover

Hello, i recently got a carbon rear strut bar cover and was looking to replace my z badge thats on the oem cover because its wrinkled and looks horrible. I havent been able to find much online about just replacing the badge though, only the whole panel with the badge. I would really like to not spend the extra money on a new oem cover + badge if im just gonna overlay my new carbon one on top of it. Would it be smarter to just try to refinish the badge thats already there?

I'm looking for the same thing I have seen a few posts saying that its easy to break while removing but not where to get a new one I would rather get a new emblem just don't know where to get one. I know that it would be easer to replace the whole thing but don't feel like spending $300+ on a replacement (would consider it if not extremely expensive. Am I missing a cheep option?)

What i ended up doing is watching a few tutorials on youtube, then i just took the cover with the z logo on it out. Sanded and painted black. Then i used my carbon fiber cover. Didnt cost me a dime (other than the carbon ). I wouldnt worry about breaking it, although it is a little spooky getting it out.

It didnt turn out super great but its much much better than it was.

Looks very good. I just got my car back from exile at friend's house. Maybe I'll do that.

Or maybe not, it's currently 110° outside (and "mostly sunny"...laff) so uhhh, think I'll just go watch Indycar on the toob...
