Question Convertible to Coupe 2004 350z Kit??

Hello! So I recently bought a 2004 nissan 350z and It was a convertible, but think that it is somewhat bad looking, so I was wondering if there is some kind of kit or something that converts it to a coupe? Thanks!

Ummmm... G35 convertible?

Some say it exists. Others have never seen such a thing.

No. There is no such "kit." Smoothline makes a hard top but I don't even know if they're still in existence. A targa top would be a custom job.

Sell the roadster and get a coupe if that's what you want.

Aww c'mon, izz not so bad.

But put the top up.... ehhh, yeah, I totally get it.

Bought the roadster because of the amazing color and a decent price from a dry state. Sold it almost as soon as I ripped off the Track Ed. wheels . I owned it for a week or two.

On the Smoothline hardtop, if it's for improving looks, they don't do much as the design of the hardtop mimics the softtop. A ZR can't have the obvious fastback 45-deg incline of the coupe, which makes all the difference in the world, design wise (IMO).

I think the ZR is a great looking car for how I drive and store it. Top down. Yerright…. Top up is a tad ungainly.

But yeah, questionable and obviously regretful decision.

The convertible Z looks like a Pontiac Solstice that had too much McDonald's

Personally, I think the Smoothline top is hideous. Any body lines that have been changed by the soft top are magnified and turned into the Jetsons' car.

Obviously biased opinion, but I don't think the ZR is as ugly as people say. Mine only gets driven when it's "top-down weather." I'm not really sure why OP bought a Z that he thinks looks bad. It's not like that was some hidden flaw when making the purchase.
