Hi everyone!
My girlfriend and I just purchased a 2005 350z roadster with only 65000 miles on it. The car is in great shape aside from a small slit in the top and this odd issue. The car starts up fine, however after startup, the accessories, console, radio, etc. don't work unless you slowly turn the key back to the accessory position (without turning the car off). I assume this is an ignition switch issue, but I was curious if anyone has some insight!

That is very odd behavior. The engine should immediately shutoff if you turn the key back to ACC position, you're saying you can do that without killing the engine? If so, then something is wrong with the lock cylinder or ignition switch. I hope you don't have a wiring hack job under the dash from an aftermarket alarm or radio install. Usually, aftermarket mods like those cause these types of weird issues.
Hope you get it sorted, congrats on the purchase!
