Question Switch Next To The Seat Warmers??

Hello! I bought a 2003 Nissan 350z Touring about a Month ago, and have been trying to figure out what this switch does (pictures attached), and I have not been able to figure it out... does anyone here know? or have the switch? it rotates somewhat too.

That is an aftermarket switch, no telling what its connected to. Not something that came with the car.

Nobody does, some Zs supposedly had a button in the passenger side storage compartment, but I have yet to see it. I just use the key fob.

Urban myth: USDM Z33s came with the emergency release under the rear strut bar. Never was a passenger side storage release, and we all use the key FOB or the button above the license plate to release the hatch.
