Hello,
I bought my 350z off someone and hasn’t changed much on it. So when I bought it it didn’t have a running A/C. Upon further looking I noticed that they had put stop leak and it clumped up inside the lines and everything. Thinking that’ll be the issue I flushed it out and tried to put refrigerant in. It wouldn’t go in when I noticed the A/C compressor wasn’t kicking on. Should’ve checked that before but hey I was eager to get it done. When I tried to test another compressor I noticed that there was power going to the blue and yellow A/C wire. I tried to follow the blue/yellow wire to see if it was cut or anything but stopped since it went behind the engine. For more info my A/C turns on but it blows warm air. Wasn’t a problem during the winter but it’s getting to summer. I’ve searched and I found an article about maybe when the radio was put in they didn’t connect the AC plug correctly behind your dash during the install. I’ve looked at mine and it’s in. So at the moment i am stumped on what to do and need advice. Anything helps!

Are you getting 12 volts at the compressor? System has to have at least 50# pressure on it to trip the sensor at the dryer. This A/C can be horribly complicated as there are 5 sensors that have to be sequenced to get power to the compressor. Power distribution box at battery, be sure compressor relay is activating, check all fuses, it can be a hair puller but stick with it. Mine was, in the end I was the cause as I had cut 2 wires under battery drilling a hole. You said lines were gummed up, what had been put in the system?

You said the refrigerant wouldn't go in. That's your problem. If you're using those little bottles you get at the parts store... Stop. take it to a shop and have them evac and charge it correctly. Then check for leaks. If it's full of refrigerant and not leaking and still won't turn on, check for power at the compressor. Once you get to that point, report back.

Okay so I did more research and was looked at the pressure switches. I guess the previous guy had not plugged in one correctly. After it was plugged in everything kicked on. I have a new compressor and everything but I’m waiting on 1 more thing and I will replace it. Thank you for the advice.
