Hello,
I've been a Nissan fanatic for the past 15 years. Owned numerous g35s, 370z, and q60.
I'm currently doing a swap from a DE to a Nismo HR engine. I've gone through guilty garage to do the wiring harness along with the ECU for the mods I have, which are just the Tomei headers, Tomei exhaust, and z1 carb legal intakes.
After we had all parts in, we ran into numerous issues and we've checked for timing, spark, and fuel. We found out that I put my intakes being 3" vs 2.5" and had the ECU reprogrammed for the mods, accordingly.
After reinstalling, we had other issues of the car starting, like it did before, but it didn't die out. The car stayed on, but the acceleration pedal did nothing. The idle was also very low. About 400-500 rpms.
After running the OBD code reader, we still have issues after addressing different sensors, replacing gallery gaskets, and adjusting TDC. My buddy (the main brains) and I are thinking maybe a corrupt ECU... But we wanted to know if anyone in here has done a DE to HR Nismo swap, and if so, what issues have you run into and addressed. Our current codes are:
P0102
P0113
P1078
P1084
P0011
P0021
P0506
P0014
P0024
We know some codes will trigger others, but we've addressed so many issues, only to gain more.
Any experience or guidance would be great. Thanks in advance.
Rick
