So my radiator crapped out and I bought a Mishimoto MMRAD-350Z-07. For the life of my I can't find a 07-09 Fan Shroud for sale.
Did Mish ever make them for the gen 2?
OEM fans still work fine but I am concerned about the clearance with the new rad being thicker. Does anyone have any experience with using the OEM fans with the radiator and if so how was your clearance on a VQ35HR.
Second part, does the 03-06 fan shroud mishimoto make fit the 07-09 rad?

The HR engine is not any longer than a DE engine. it has extra camshaft sensors and two more variable controllers but would not affect the radiator or fan shroud. I have a large Mish radiator with the OEM fan and shroud. no problems.

The only concern I would have with the Fan Shroud on an HR is the coolant hose routing. Nissan changed this on the HR to accommodate the twin Intake plenum tubing. I don't own an HR, so I cannot confirm if this would pose a problem or not with the shroud. What I can say is that I upgraded my DE's rad to a Koyo performance Rad (very similar to the Mishimoto unit) and although the fitment for the fan shroud is very tight tight, everything does fit snuggly without clearance or rubbing issues. The biggest problem I ran into was making relief cuts in the core support to accept the larger support brackets for the condenser (at the bottom of the radiator).
