Default no cel/ses light helpp

recently got a 2006 manual Z 136k used to be rev up, but og owner blew a hole in the block.. so a regular de (engine and harness) was swapped in and i had to finish buttoning it the harness.
so the issue is that the ecu can’t connect to the car, i got og ecu so i expected the car to start on limp mode but it won’t even be recognized.
bought a nats deleted ecu and borrow a friends.. nothing still. i tested mine in his car and it worked fine. tested the idpm box and worked fine. i’m getting power to 119-120 but no communication. to the obd2 port.
after about 2 weeks chasing this down. i’ve read a few posts where it says the pin out is the same in the ecu, but F1F2F3 (body plugs ?) and 102 (white connector) need to repined ?
someone please help..

That's a tough one since the vehicle has been modified outside of factory spec. A agree with your assessment, the interior harness pinout is most likely different. My suggestion would be to grab copies of the FSM for a standard DE equipped Z33 (04-05) and an 06 Revup. Then compare your body harness diagrams and pinouts to the ECM (ECU) and BCM. It's very possible a wrong pinout somewhere is shorting out the canbus and causing communication to the ECM to fail, but it's also possible your modified ECU is dead, or a wiring fault has damaged it.

Personally, I would get the correct engine, harness, and ECU meant for the 06 and install that. You're in a pickle with a frankensteined Z now, even if you sort this problem out, there's no telling what other issues may pop up down the road.

Note: With a little bit of online searching, you can find downloadable FSMs with all the wiring information for free.

Good Luck!

maybe you should just get a rev up motor and drop it in instead. Like mentioned above who knows if other problems may come up even after you get it to fire up. Good luck man
