My 2003 350Z touring 27k miles have an inaccurate gas reading. its read 7/8 went its full and 3/4 empty. I replace the sender unit and complete gas pump unit with OEM Nissan parts, O rings and bolts and no luck turn the ignition and still on 7/8 tank. The tank have like 1/2 tank of gas in it. I did some ohms test on the new and old sending unit and gas pump and read normal. I test sending unit and gas pump outside the tank connect it moving the floater up and down no mayor movement, went its down read 3/4 and the empty light goes on them up read 7/8. Please need help.

You could have a bad stepper motor in your gauge cluster, or a wiring fault from one of the sender units. I would check continuity on your sender unit wiring, I believe these feed back to the multi-display computer (combination meter), which resides in the center dash, under the radio. Also check for a short on the sender unit wiring.
You can get the circuit diagrams from the FSM.
Cheers!
