Default Please help me decide which 350z to buy!!

I have an aging 2004 350z Touring with 154k miles (salvage title due to accidnet years ago), looking to replace with these 2 options, both same color (carbon silver)

2007 350z:

- Touring trim.
- 20k miles
- excellent cabin and paint condition (matches low mile)
- walk out total price $22k
- delivrry much closer, half cost of next car
- they include CA tax in loan wirh them, $349 84 months. 8% APR
- clean carfax with service history and mileage
CONCERN : pic of enginr bay (attached) looks very rusted and used up way more than I'd think a low 20k should be ? Also private dealership and when I asked what they did to car all he said he test drove it and did oil change that's it.

(Link has Carfax too)

2008 350z:

- base model.
- 25k miles
- excellent cabin and exterior condition. Engine pic looks BRAND NEW . No rust, deep black plastic etc
- dealer price $16,500. I have to pay CA tax in DMV here and delivety twide as much as car much further away (approx $1600)
- had to get 3rd party loan, 11% APR $18k I pay $310 month.
-Licensed Ford dealer and thet sent me seevice bill they did on car
MAIN CONCERN : BASE trim (my 2004 is Touring). No leather, lsd, cruise, Bose etc. Was thinking Katzkin leather later. Car is spotless inside and out EXCEPT driver side door arm rest LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS TO CAR WITH 200K MILES. CARFAX ok and has mileage history but it failed 3 emissions tests. Why ?

I ordered Lemon Squad to go look over 2007 Touring model Monday. But I hear they are a fraud.

no link, as dealer took down ad as I put deposit. But car really is spotless aside from beaten up armrests.
Which car should I get?

Shame you almost couldn't be further away - I have an 06 Enthusiast with 50k miles i'd be easily willing to let go for way less than both of those options but I'm in CT.

Always get the one that has the better, verified service records.

On the Base one with the scratched arm rest.... just get a new one. All '07+ 33s use that cheap, easily scratched material on arm rests, some panels, etc. Hardly something to get flustered over. If you think you need all the higher-than-Base-trim stuff (LSD, Bose, etc), then walk away or factor in a nice upgraded sound system and a good mechanical LSD or a VLSD diff from another Z. Again, all are simple adds.
