Saw a liquid silver Z today
and DAMN now i know why people are willing to shell out so much money for it. it looks great. I saw it in the sunlight, just as the sun was setting...looked really metallic...alot like the silver show car Z I saw before they released the Z to the general public. Pictures do this color no justice.

Sounds like the same thing that happened with Brickyard. "Pictures don't do it justice"..."It looks amazing in direct sunlight." Maybe Liquid Aluminum will be discontinued for '05, who knows.

I dont know... I saw it and all i can say is that personally, I think it is a waste of money. If you dont see the CS and LA side by side, it is difficult to tell them apart. Even next to each other, the differences are subtle.
I did see them side by side in the daylight and i wasnt impressed with the difference. Granted, the sun wasnt setting, but there is no way I would spend that kind of money for a color that is so similar to another color I could get for free. That is money for an exhaust right there.
Of course, just my opinion.
My prediction is that it will be around for only one year due to lack of demand.

Too bad Brickyard has been discontinued. It's a shame. I saw an LA touring at my dealership. It's ok, but not worth $1100. It almost looks white from a distance. Very light. I like it, but it isn't worth additional $$$.

I saw one too.
Really cool color.
Worth $1100?
Not to my cheap ***...but certianly a distinguishable color.
Makes CS look like the weakest silver of the three now (can you tell I own a SS?)

I like the LA color also. It's the closest thing to Porsche's "Pearlessence" on the 911 in '94. That was a silver-white metallic "special order" color that was awesome.

I just saw one. Myself, conceyted and a couple other people went to eat at Olive Garden and we saw a silver Z and I was like what the **** color is that. Then I realized what it was. I have SS and i knew it wasnt that or CS. It looked ok, but the car was so dirty I dont think it did it justice. I would like to see one in the daylight and clean to have a good opinion on it.

Its a nice bright color. It even shines like mad towards the end of the day!
