Best Leather Seat Replacement?
Hey Guys - new here but not to the Z, I've owned 3 in the past and just picked up another 2004. The seats are - 2 years old - and falling a apart. I think just new covers should be fine. I don't mind cloth or leather - just want the lowest price, that's the focus.
Any tips or connections? Thanks!

best brand i have used to date is leatherseats.com, better than katzkins that i pu tin my z33 back in early 2000s.
I used their upgraded leather ( exsta or similar name) and it is wildly nice leather.. very thin, like glove leather. Might actually BE calfskin.
Massive array of colors and customization allows for a very high end oem look vs the " yeah those are definitely just Katzkins" looking seats that are everywhere.
Was able to get a Porsche tera cota color w matching Alcantara centers, w the drivers seat bottom bump in both seats... paid around 1000usd back in 2010 dollars.

I'm also interested in recommendations for seat covers. I've exhaustively researched Amazon and Ebay but get stuck on the reviews. Amazon reviews cover a spectrum of different vehicles for the supposed Z33 fit. And Ebay is about the same.
Pictures and real Z reviews would help. Plus, cost is an issue as well, $1000. is a lot for seat covers. Just saying. I tried Auto salvage, found that they go quick? Who would've thought that that seats in 4.0 condition were a premium.

Maybe in your neck of the woods. I had a clean pair of base model seats from an 06 (cloth covers). I would say 4.5/5 condition wise as there was some signs of wear on the driver's seat bolster cover. But otherwise, they were near tip top condition. No takers at a fairly low price point (was asking $250 for the set). I checked FB market in my area and there were at least 3-5 other listings for seats in worse condition around the $200 mark. I ended up selling them to a friend for 200, who put them in a budget G35 drift missile project (it's a POS tbh).
Good quality leather isn't cheap and professional installation is also not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I've looked around at many of the aftermarket offerings in leather and I just didn't like the cookie cutter design templates. To each their own, but I'm happy with the OEM cloth seat covers, they seem to out-last the OEM leather seat covers.
Cheers!
