My 03 Track (45k Miles) is making a rattle noise coming from the engine bay (sounds below the motor) It does it on idle, not as loud, but any gear at RPMs 2500+ it’s very loud especially from inside. Can only imagine what it sounds like from out. Extremely annoying that I don’t even wanna drive it. It gets worse when I accelerate in any gear, but goes completely quiet for a second when I shift. I added a video below, any input on similar experiences or just general knowledge is really appreciated. As i’m going to be tracking this down this weekend. (Pray for me)

 

Welcome- but I didn't hear any rattles during that clip. Have you tried jacking up the car and putting in on jackstands to get underneath to look and listen from where this rattle is coming from?

 

Also couldnt hear much on that video. Like dkmura said jack it up and take a look underneath. Did this noise start out of no where? Did you recently do any work under there? Maybe something as simple as a heat shield rubbring against something else. Maybe the exhaust?
