Default Good Car Washing Tips Please

ok after i went to go and see the liquid aluminum color yesterday i have decided to go with that one once i sell my WRX. so before i even get the car i want to know the best way to wash a car. What i mean is what soap to use, what car wash mit, what wax, what hand buffers to use with the wax, and the best thing to dry the car off with. any other info you all can think of would be great as well. Thanks

I use Armor All car wash. Buy some microfiber towels to wash car. Trust me. You dont want swirly marks even though liquid aluminum wont show them as bad as other colors.

1. Turn on hose
2. Fill bucket with water
3. Add some soap
4. Hose car down to loosen dirt
5. Use your finger and finger the brake dust off the wheels
6. Now wash thorougly with the soap. Start on the roof
7. Dont let it dry without rinsing the soap off
8. Do your wheels last then spray them. Finger the remaining dirt off
9. After car is rinsed and no soap remains, use a leaf blower to dry it (electric leaf blower).
10. If you dont have one, use another microfiber cloth
11. Don't forget to open the doors, hatch and gas cap while drying car.

Nice directions!

But lets hope your leaf blower is clean ... or else you'll be sandblasting your car

The best way to wash your car is to find an older carwash with the old green brushes...I notice they get all the dirt and paint off quite nicely eventually
