Default How do get this thing off my Z?

friends of mine said to try using a blowdryer and peel it off, but i was a little hesitant. how the hell do get this nasty looking this off the Z?

i hate car dealers that put this crap on their cars for just a little more advertising.

here is what i'm talking about.

I'm sure if you take it back to the dealer and ask them to remove it, they should without any hassle. I was fortunate enough to have a dealer that put their logo only on the non-Z cars.

Hair dryer worked for me when removing the same type of labeling from my old Civic. You should've had the dealer remove the label as a part of sealing the deal, but the hair dryer (or heat gun) and time out of your day is what you are left with.

I hate dealers that do that. As if the plate holders they use aren't enough. I told my dealer that if there was anything like that on my car I'd not only not take delivery I'd cancel the order and go elsewhere.

Anyway it's a bit hard to tell in that shot but I assume it's just a vinyl sticker. If so a hairdryer or just parking in the sun for a few hours should allow you to peel it off easily. Use a bug and tar remover if any residue is left behind then wash and re wax.

I wouldnt have picked the car up with that on it.

Tell the Dealer you'll drive around with his ad if he pays you

Back in the day some dealers had an emblem of thier dealership bolted onto the car. I'd kill'em.

There is this stuff named "Goop-be-gone" (yes, thats the actual name lol) been around for years, its basicly concentrate citric acid (orange juice) will take stickers off anything and wont hurt your paint, thats how Ive removed bumper stickers before - you can pick it up anywhere in the us (wallmart, auto zone ect...)

Go back to the dealer, and tell them that unless they're willing to pay you a monthly fee for the advertisement on the back of your car, they had better remove the sticker.

Goo Gone Owns

I hate those things too. My friends Focus ( I know I know, friends don't let friends drive focus') has one from Tommy Vaughn Ford in Houston. It is a little cowboy hat. It drives me nutz but she things it is cute.
