Default **Tire Thread Fix For 2005? Interior Update?

Hey, All!

Any news on Nissan fixing the tire threading problem (possibly suspension related) for 2005?

Any news on the 350's interior being updated and refreshed for 2005?

I heard both of these possibilities circulating round the rumor mill. Just wanted to see if anything more concrete has been posted or released. Thanks.

Cheers!

I have an 04' build date 07/03 and i have no tire problems at all. Do people still have tire problems after this build date?

hEY My tires are messed up in the front. Between 50 - 0 KM/H they make a weird sound almost like grinding. I took it to Nissan they said it was because the tires need to be rotated, I tried that and that didnt fix the problem either. What options do I have here? Anyone get this fixed or anything from Nissan?

Default Hope Instrument Cluster gets updated

First off, let me say that I am planning to purchase a Z.

I recently got the chance to sit in one at a local auto show. The interior is not bad, but am I the only one who thinks that the instrument cluster above the steering wheel is ugly? I'm not just talking about the cheap, plasticky look. The design is just so *rice* looking. I really hope they improve on this in the 2005 or 2006 Z. Otherwise, the rest of the interior looks great.

Will there be a part recall for our Zs to fix the tire problem?

I still can not understand what is wrong with the interior.Simple and easy to read instruments.I totally disagree with the statement that the instrument cluster above the steering wheel is ugly.My only wish is their was more options on color coding the interior.Too much black and dark colors.

My dealership plans to replace my orignal tires with the same Bridgestone tires. I'm concern that's not going to remedy the problem.

I have 8k+ miles on my car. Shouldn't I be able to see some kind of uneven wear?

When I saw the dark/black interior I thought "Thank goodness".

I like black interiors for a bunch of reasons.
1) If yuo add anything (stereo, compass, whatever) it probably comes in black and will match
2) Dark colors hide dirt and stay clean looking better
3) Black doesn't reflect as bad on the inside of the windshield
4) It makes the windows look darker tha they are

When I ordered my Firebird I had to custom order the black interior. Pontiac only made black firebirds with light grey interiors by default, but the dealership helped me tweak the color codes on the build order.

I also agree that the Z interior is ok. It is not flashy or luxurious, but it is clean, functional, and fairly appropriate for a sports car.
