it could be true because car companies usually make some changes after a couple of years.

Basically, no one knows anything about the 05 Zs. So there's definitely no info on the 06s. Who knows, there may be no 350Zs made in 06 (hopefully not though).

hah, what are you talking about, Id be estatic if nissan stopped making the Z after 3 years. resale value would skyrocket. of course so would the price of aftermarket parts.

I would love for them to stop making the Z. I like the fact that there are very few other cars on the road like mine.

Id love for them to stop making the Z too ares. Problem with that? Value goes up because of demand. But let's say you wreck your car. Insurance will only give you blue book. When you go to buy another 350z (used mind you), you'll have to fork the difference between blue book and actual selling price over in CASH!

Value might not go up!

example:
93' - 95' rx7 twin turbo's 3 years 15,000-20,000 cars sold total.

they sell for $10,000 now.

Japanese sport cars don't hold value well. except the last gen supra.

i used to have a '93 rx7...the reason that car didn't hold its value is because it was built with a S****Y engine. I had more problems with that than steroids and the MLB

Resale value on cars does not skyrocket because the manufacturer stops making them after 3 years - unless it is about 20 years old or more and has come to be considered a classic. New cars (with the exception of a few extremely low volume prestige models) will depreciate for many years to come. The Z is a good car for the money, but it is certainly not the undisputed top dog sports car of its generation and there is nothing revolutionary about it. It's simply a good sports car value for the money.
