Default Car Contract Order - Legally Binding?

Does anyone know if the Car Contract Order that NNA had us sign with the dealership at an agreed upon price is legally binding? Can the dealership increase the price above what is listed on the sheet?

Thank you,

JD

My sheet said that only NISSAN can up the price (of MSRP) - not the dealer...

Thanks, ZGiRL.

It's worded kind of weird on mine. It says, "...if the price should be increased before I have taken delivery, I will have the privilege of accepting the delivery at the new price or can cancel this order..." But it doesn't specify why the price can change or by whom. That is the part that worries me.

Are these forms the same from Dealership to Dealership or State to State?

It's killing me that NNA closed before I needed to call them.

Thanks again,

JD

Thanks, GEEZEE.

I was hoping that the Order form might have come from NNA.

Did you put money or other consideration down? If so, it's a bilateral contract and s/b legally binding within the terms of the contract.

Hope you're not having problems w/ your car!!!

Chris-

I did send in a deposit. They never cashed it though.

I am pretty cofident that I will get it all worked out tomorrow. I will call NNA tomorrow to see what their perspective is.

Thanks for the info,

JD

When I picked up my car on 9/11/02 the price of my car was $500 dollars less than the preorder price. The car was ordered at MSRP price. Did anyone of you have the same experience when you picked up your car.
