Question Head room in the 350 Z

What's the interior head room like for tall people?

I'm 6'2" tall but my inseam is only 33" so I have a pretty tall upper body and relatively short legs. For comparison's sake, I cannot drive an Audi TT because my head touches the headliner (It's not even close to enough space). My head rubbed just a little bit in a 3000 GT VR-4 that I drove a couple weeks ago.

I'm scared that I won't fit in the 350 Z and don't want to think I'm going to end up with one if I can't have it in the end

Default Head Room

From what I've heard there have been people as tall as 6'6" and 6'8" to sit in it without any problems. At any rate I have the same problem (6'2" tall with short legs) and usually just "scooch" down a bit and lean the seat back so that I have plenty of head room.

Cool

I'm 6'5", so I've had many of the same concerns. I've found that I do fit into sports coupes with 37.5" of headroom, such as the Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911. After digging around, I've had two sources report back that the headroom on the 350Z is 38.2", with legroom of 43.2", shoulder room of 53.6" and hip room of 53.9". You should be in good shape--so...do what I did and get that pre-order for your 350Z in! (I ordered an Enthusiast, 6MT, chrome silver in May, and am checking the mail daily for that much-desired "Black Envelope Confirmation" from Nissan.

Thats odd... Im 6'3" with a 34 inseam and I have a few inches clearance in my Audi TT, easily.
Are you sure you had the seat all the way *lowered*? It not only goes back and forth but up and down as well, the position it was in at the dealership when I bought it was all the way up.

Anyway there's been several posts on other forums from taller people who've say in the car and said it's fine.

Lowfuel-

It was at an auto show and really I wasn't too interested in the car. My GF wants one so I didn't make much effort after I sat down and felt like I was sitting in a coccoon. I probably didn't have the seat down far enough.

I'm not going to preorder. I need to start my new job and pay off some student loans first.

I had a little too much fun in college

Now I have to pay for it for a year or so before I buy new toys.
