Having some second thoughts on my color choice...

PP White... Will someone please list some good reasons why I shouldn't change?

Dude, white is an awesome color. Ever see an Integra Type R in white?

On a more somber note, it doesn't show scratches as much as say, black.

Is the White going to be a Pearl or Ivory? Or just super white...

Look at a new Maxima, it has the same paint code.

I was thinking of Chrome silver to match the aluminum kickplates...

You can't go wrong with white. I've got it narrowed down to white, black, or silverstone for myself.

Okay.. I'm going to call the dealer today to change my color to Chrome Silver...

The Silver looks too good, an although the PP White can be just as nice, I think it's still a gamble.

Hey man... as long as you are happy with the car, that's all that matters. Be it PP White, Chrome Silver, Brickyard, or Pea green... the color should be appealing to you. Go for it! Just my .02

Hmmm... Okay.

Jill, you have a good point. If in fact the change will push the delivery date even further, I will NOT change the color.

And I'll go check out the chrome silver on the pathfinder. I've heard that the PP White is the same white used on the Maxima. Is this true?

Cool

That is true BullishZ. I had to go check it out because that's my color of choice for my 350Z. It's pretty nice. I had a 90 TT that was pearl white and I loved that color. Especially in the hot Texas summers. Not sure how the weather is where you live but here in Texas light colors are a must :-) Just think about it.... We'll be practically 'glowing' at night with minimal light...

"Glowing at night with minimal light..."

I don't understand. White cars shine more?

Zgirl,

I think you'll get happy with your car because it's what you want. What might be good for some may not be good for 'all'. I love the control that I have with the stick shift but it is work when you're sitting in rush hour traffic. So, don't sweat it.. Just enjoy the ride.

Yes BullishZ,

I think 'white' is about the brightest color you can get therefore it will 'glow' or 'shine' more in minimal light (after dark).

Thumbs up

O.k. Bullish,

They are both nice colors but what you can do is... Take out a quarter & write a 'S' on one side and a 'W' on the other. Flip it and let it hit the floor kneel down and go with what you see. You'll be happy either way. I almost went with Silver myself but I didn't want to be like everyone else here in Austin Texas. I spoke with ever dealership in town and found out that 90% of the Z's pre-ordered in Austin are all Silver. Didn't want to have to same car as every 350Z owner in town.

After all, every commercial that you see on t.v. (no matter the vehicle), they are all silver. It's the 'gotta have' color of 2000-2003. I seen it enough around here. I need to be different so my decision was easy. Good luck my friend. Don't let it keep you up nights....lol (laughing out loud).
