Most of us could have all bought cobras if we wanted. I'll take the Z any day of the week.

 

hehe funny story w/ mustang cobra.. raced 1 in my Z and oh yeah man he had the lead!!!...but THEN we took a turn that was almost a 180 degree turn and since he was bout at 100 and i was prolly at like 85 or so and since they cant handle for D!CK he rapped himself into the curb / grass area while i took the turn fine and then turn around and pointed! id rather lose a race by a few ft and be able to turn as i did compare to him. I THINK VENOM MUST OF GOTTEN STUCK IN HIS BREAKS, WHEELS, STRUTS AND SUSPENSION.. hey thats a valid excuse it is a cobra

 

btw it was either an rx-8, cobra or Z, my uncle works for a certified SVT dealer for cobras in NJ.. coulda gotten a better deal on one than my Z.. but as u see the smart choice i made.. i sure woulda felt stupid when i went into the curb/ grass, and then a 350z comes blowing by me not skidding/ losing grip 1 bit

 

and once i get my engine mods, bring on a cobra, will have no problem racing 1 400hp + supercharger = i got nothin to lose

 

Its 2 different cars for different kinds of people. The Mustang is straight line performance, while the Z is very quick on the straight but is also as all around grand touring sports car. Oh yea, plus the mustang is very ugly, has the worst interior in the world, sounds like sh*t, and cant turn without slowing down to 10 mph.

 

the new stangs look 10000x better than the last gen ones. Whats with the useless air ducts on the sides and hood? they look real.....cool. I could have had a stang, but then i realized that i wanted no go fast in all directions, not just straight. Oh ya and looks... did i mention looks....

 

damn, my autocrossed out MR2 (the 12.1 second first one i had) ate mustangs for breakfast.

never found one on the road that didn't see my plate (ENVYMY2)

the Z is leagues beyond the Stang. any stang.

oh yeah, i like the saleen mustang 425 suprercahrged that is a limited edition per year, really nice! however its around 60k and id buy a track z for 35k and the mods i could put in it for the extra 20 would be far superior.. but u can also get a stock cobra for 30k and do the same so its even, however id compare the saleen supercharged to a 350ZX (if they had a stock turbo) that came with like 350hp twin turbo.. i think that would take the saleen mustang.. saleen mustang does low 13s - high 12s.. that 350z is def into high 12s also so again its looks... but id still think the 350zx (turbo if they had it) would EASILY OUTHANDLE the saleen..

 

also, since the mustangs all look somewhat similiar , doesn't it gripe some of u who have a very nice cobra etc etc.. see a simliar car to u but 1 thats 1 year old cost like 10k.. EHHHHH i guess the porshe pple can say that about us 2 heh

 

also my last rant session, i was watching most of speedvision.. i must of missed the cobra when it was on. DAMMT!!!!! but it was on right?!?!?
