Question new 2003 350z track for 31K?

I just came back from a dealer. I was looking for a chrome silver enthusiast, but he only had a PPK one. He had a chrome silver track model 350z that hadn't been sold yet. He said he could let it go for a little under invoice, 31k. Is that too high for a car that's been sitting around for a year? The car had like 100 something miles, and he had like 6 other 350z's there. It seemed like business wasn't doing too good there.

Oh, also he said he could ship another cs enthusiast for somewhere else and sell it for $500 over invoice. What would you guys do?

Also, anyone know of good, cheapest auto loans for people with good credit?

take the track! that's cheap, who cares if it has 100 mi, plus the 03's are the same as 04's. You still get 36k warranty...my opinion

That's a nice deal. Invoice is about $31200 or so. I was looking around for a leftover 03 Track model...no dealers wanted to budge from MSRP, even though quite a few had 03 models sitting around. Maybe it would've been different had I shown up in person. Does your finance company still treat it as new, even if it's last year's model?

I would go for it if I were you. 100 miles of demo driving isn't that much compared to others I've seen (around 400 miles). I remember back last April a dealer had a Track model new (never registered) with 300 miles sold for $29,500. I was going to buy it, but I picked up my Z literally two weeks before then

A new 2003 ? with 3 months into 2004.

If it is "New" I would jump all over that.

It's a no brainer.

first off, INVOICE, is way more than 31k on a track model. I work at a nissan dealer. I have seen the invoice. Ask to see the invoice, they may have done work to a base or enthusiast and are calling it a track. the invoice will say track model on it. Pull the vin # as well. That will tell the whole story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

MSRP on the 2004 Track was 35170, Invoice was in the 32K range I believe. 31K is a great deal, but you need to remember that it's a 2003, and they have problems. If the tire-feathering issue is never resolved, and it shows up on your car, you are committing to a car's lifetime of issues. That is a great price for a "new" track model though.....

Wow. Thanks for the great advice everyone. I checked the VIN number on the free carfax report. There was one record found. What could that mean? Is it necessarily bad?

Also, what do you guys think about the enthusiast? $500 over invoice is still a lot under msrp. He quoted 27, 500 for it.

Those carfax "records" don't mean anything unless you see what it really is. A record appears everytime a car is registered, salvaged, accidents, etc...I bet that one record shows up as the car being shipped to the US and will show like 3 miles. Dealers can give you a free carfax check on the car if you want.

I would go for the Enthusiast. 500 over invoice is good deal. Plus its a 2004 with less miles and chances are it will have a better transmission than 2003s.

I bought mine which is a 2003 Touring with 9k for $27900. I think this was a good bargain. I also bought the gold package (extra warranty) for 72 months for $1200 more.
