Default Radar placement (Passport 8500 sucktion pads)

Anyone experiencing any problems attaching the sucktion pads to the windshield? I'm trying to attach them below the mirror but they won't stay. They either detach or slide around (if I moist them a little).

Any thoughts or ideas?

did it come with a clip to attach it to your visor?

otherwise, maybe a hardware store and get bigger suction clips

you are doing it right though, you want it mounted about mirror level.

It wasn't a problem on the TL. I'm thinking it's the sleek glass itself

I used to use the V1 suction cups without any problem (now i have mount). Use the 8500 suction cups on my Jeep.

if youre trying to place it where the black dimples are its not going to work..... make sure the glass surface is clean wipe it down with some windex and stuff and than let it dry and put it up without moisintg them just make sure the cups are clean also.

Send a PM to "MIKE3348" or an e-mail to mike3348@adelphia.net and tell him that you want to order one if his mounting brackets. They are only $20.00 and worth EVERY penny of the price!
