there were only 3 DB enthusiast manual's in california that had some features such as side curtain airbags, etc.. the on near me would deal at all, me and my dad had to drive up 440 miles to sacramento to get it, they arent easy to find, but they are the best color =) u can put the mile radius and just check your state, instead of your address, i did that for california to find all the DB enthusiast 6 speed's and i searched through 21 pages of 5 dealers on each page, so thats over 100 dealers and only found 3, it may take some time but i think you can find one off nissan's site, they really need to redesign that stupid search engine.

This thread got me to thinking. "How hard can it be now to find the Z you want?.

So I did a search of 100 mile radius of Atlanta. That brought back about 25-28 dealers. Of them, I found 3 DB's. All were MT.

I'd have to agree with some of the other posts. To get what you want, and ensure that noone has ragged it on test drives, order it. Tell the dealer there had better not be more than 5 to 10 miles on it when you take delivery.

Guess I was lucky to walk into the closest dealer to me on Nov 1, 02 and get my '03 Performance DB off the showroom floor.

Good luck.

OK Update:

I ordered it April 1st. They told me 6-8 weeks, but seeing how it is, I expect 3 months.

Plus if I order it i get the 2004.5 which supposedly get the updated ssupension (correct?)

Oh and they told me if they are able to locate one, they will just give me that one instead.

Eh, might as well wait and get what I want so I dont kick myself in the future.

Check www.amitynissan.com They had one this week and it should still be there. Your dealer can get it from them. The dealer is in Massapequa on Long Island. It's close enough that they will get it for you.

Im in Maryland, pm me if you want to drive down here... I have 2 in stock. The bad thing is I don't sell them for 300.00 over invoice.
The Z is a car you don't have to give away.

Meeno they lied to you, yes it will take 90 days to get the car and if you order in april 1st that means the car will be build in May so most likely you will see the car at the end of June or beggining of July, also it will still be a 2004 and not a 2004.5 and so far they haven't correct the problem, I did see a roadster that they did redesign the front tires only, they are the same RE040 but the grooves at the edge go only half way so there is no end that can be lift to cause the noise, a cheap way to fix the problem.
