Default Has anybody tried this yet?

Has anybody tried the Mr. Clean AutoDry car wash kit yet? I've seen a million commercials for it while watching all those car shows on spike tv, so it finally got me curious. I've read reviews on a VW forum, but what do they know anyways? ( j/k) Has this kit been tried and tested on a Z yet?

(I have a feeling it doesn't work as well as it's advertised, but eh, figured I might as well just ask)

There was a post on that in the cleaning section.

It works, but it leaves a thin film on the car. Ok for the family mini-van, not so cool for the Z.

Used it once, and it has been shitting in the shed since then. Waste of 20 bucks.

And yes there are numerous threads on this topic already.

So that is the secret ingredient they use? No wonder it doesn't work well...

Ionized water, and from what I gather it sucks

I bought it, used it and love it. I think it works great. There wasn't a single water-mark on my car when I was done. Didn't use one towell either. Maybe it depends on the water in your area, but all I know is Mr. Clean made washing my Z much easier. The soap is pretty impressive too. It isn't high alkaline as I thought it may be.

It doesn't work on my Super Black. Of couse, I wasn't expecting it to work. EVERYTHING shows on a black Z. Maybe if I wash it at night without any moonlight, the water spots won't show...
