A 1985 Pontiac Phoenix. Might not have heard of it, but no loss. Front wheel drive, 4 banger with no power. Kind of kept me away from 4 bangers until I drove a Honda.
Oh yeah, and the back brakes (drums!) had a tendency to lock up when braking. It would put you sideways on ice in no time! After that I became a big fan of great brakes. My 350Z Track definitely has the best brakes of any car I have owned.

I had a '77 Honda Civic that must have been the ORIGINAL ricer! I had fender flares, mag wheels, wide tires, custom bodywork and trick paint, side-draft weber carbs, and a big ol' Hurst shifter inside! That was the first car I owned, and I put a lot of work into it and loved that car. Next came an '81 RX7 that was a better car in most ways but I didn't put as much of my own sweat into it.
Maybe I will scan some old pictures of the Honda and post them (in off topic) if anyone's interested. When I did up the Honda back in 1982, nobody was modifying Civics, and now it's funny to see what a craze it has become. I always tell people "I was the original riceboy". (Of course I stopped that kind of nonsense years ago but I can still appreciate what the young people are doing to their fun economy cars.)

My first car was a 1959 Chevrolet; the one with the huge fins and cat's eye tail lights. It had a 283 cu. in. V8 w/2spd auto and it was green on top, fenders and hood, the rest of the car was light yellow. No joke, true story. Great car, traded it for my 1965 Triumph TR4.

I was the third owner!
BTW I am also an idiot for selling that car. Although, I did buy a Silver 280Z next.

even with all the problems she gave me.. ring & valve jobs, difficult to start on cold days, jump starts in the winter, heat galore into the driver's side... fall, winter, spring, and worst of all... summer. But those summer days with the top down.... that is all you remember... only the good memories... my teal blue Austin Healy MK 3000 ....
