btw: My Z's in getting new front tires as we speak - they are also going to check that exact noise to see if it's normal. The mechanic heard it as I was in the garage dropping it off. My dealership is good, so we'll see what they have to say.....

MRfire, I think we got our signals crossed.
What I meant is that a lot of people think the "rattle at idle" is a problem. Well, it may be a problem but it is common.
What Zshadow described didnt sound like the rattle at idle. Which is why I thought he didnt have it. But as soon as he pulled up into my house I heard it. I said "step on your clutch" and it went away. I thought he was referring to lifter tick or timing chain noise prior to this.
I dont have hissy fits by the way
good luck with your Z

On the good side, no more roar at low speeds

hey mrfire, glad to hear about no more roar. I still have it
I'm getting tired of hearing "cant find the problem" from my damn dealer too.
Yea they told me the clutch chatter was normal. Most manual Z's I've heard have it.
btw: Your dealer give you any $hit about your popcharger?
