I just signed on with NJ cure auto insurance. I am 25 years old with I think 3 points. It is going to cost me around $2400 a year for 100/300 coverage and a $1000 deductible on comp and collision. This is the cheapest I could find. My old company told me about $1900 next year once my record cleans up.

Wow, I'm paying about $1200/year with 100/300 and a $500 deductible. I went to my agent to see what the change would be when I get a Z, and it actually didn't change at all, of course due to the fact that I'll be 25 at that time.

In not in your metro area, but am in another large area..Washington DC metro area,

I'm 40 yo and clean record,

With very high coverages, i.e., 100/300 etc
Nationwide, my current company, quoted me:

$389/6 months (250 ded)
$350/6 months (500 ded)

23 male, clean record

just sold my 98 Maxima SE and was afraid to see how much more my insurance would be with this new sports car

turns out it $100 cheaper, and will continue be $100 cheaper every year there after!

couldn't believe it, wonder if its because there are so many air bags.... its like a freakin jiffy pop in there if you get into an accident (thats a good thing)

I'm 54 and have a good record.. Have 2 other cars (1995 Volvo 850 & 1996 GMC Yukon). GEICO's rates for the "Z" are $1409 a year with $100 Deductable comprehensive & Full glass coverage.. I live in Westchester County, 20 miles north of NYC..

Good Luck.. NJ is a real pain in the butt regarding Auto Insurance.
