It has been raining all day here. Unfortunately, I am out driving my Z.

I noticed when I have my wipers on (especially the highest setting), the clutch pedal pulses to the motion of the wipers!

Anyone else experienced this??

If so, have you talked to the dealer about it?

Yes, I noticed this week as well. I told a friend, he thought I was nuts. I have since found that the location and size of the wiper motor causes this pulsing.

 

Hahaha! I've heard of speed sensitive wipers but never clutch sensitive. Damn, wonder why that would happen.

 

It's been raining for the past couple days and I was going to post about this, it's a weird feeling. I also noticed that when I'm on the clutch you can also feel the window motor going when it's going down too.

 

If the wiper motor arm was near the clutch master cyclinder, resevoir or a fluid line, I guess that could explain it. Doesn't sound good, though, since repetitive motion over time could cause wear. It hasn't rained here yet, but I'll watch out for this one this coming winter.

 

Mine does the same, its especially loud when the wipers are on full blast. It feels like some sort of throbbing.

 

Windsheild wipers...you guys are lucky you get to use them. Would be nice to use them a few times a year here in LA...but to be curious i'll have to check.

 

Hopefully mine will never see rain, she stays nice and dry in the garage when that shows up.
