bedding in the 350z
i brought this thread back from 04 and you guys took it right off track. bedding in is a process by which you transfer brake pad material smoothly and evenly onto the rotors
Search brake bedding procedure and you will find out what it is and how it is done.
In simple terms you go fast, then brake hard, let the brakes cool and do it again a few times.
I.E. 60mph to 20mph braking as hard as possible avoiding antilock at all costs.
Be very careful when bedding in your breaks, and provide plenty of time between stops, my interpretation of the instructions were to do it real fast one stop after another and I think I ended up glazing the pads and rotors.
