Thumbs down My Experience With Ultimate Z

I just wanted to post a quick thread on my experience dealing with Ultimate Z.

I decided to go with the JWT popcharger and placed an order with them on March 10th, since they were the cheapest I could find on the internet. Soon though, I found out why they had to sell it for so cheap.

I was told via automatic email after online purchase that I would receive a UPS tracking number shortly, so I could follow my package to my doorstep. About a week after not receiving any tracking information, I emailed Ultimate Z to find out what the situation was. I got a response back same day, stating that the item was on backorder and they were expecting it at the end of the week(March 19-23rd). At this point I felt dissapointed in Ultimate Z, figuring they would go ahead and either:
1) Put on their website that the procharger is on backorder
or
2) Email me and let me know what the situation is prior to me getting irritated.

After finding out it was on backorder I emailed them back and asked them if I could get expedited shipping, from my end I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place if I were going to have to wait for it to come in. They replied back saying that they would see what they could do, but basically if they did one day shipping they would be "breaking even". This is NOT what you want to tell a customer, someone who could possibly become a repeat customer. Your first mission in business is to keep the customer notified of ANY situations, and make him happy, even if it means breaking even.

Longer story shorter, I got my pop charger April 1st, and guess what....no expedited shipping.

Word of mouth is the best advertising around, and I hope Ultimate Z knows that they will not get any positive feedback from me. 2 BIG THUMBS DOWN!!!

Hmmn, I got mine from them also. It was also the cheapest I could find it but it was in stock and I received it super fast. They even got in touch with me to confirm it would ship the next day.
Sometimes it helps to call and ask if the part is in stock rather than depending on the web and email.

I was going to order from Avalon Racing whom I have purchased from before but the price seemed to change everytime I looked which I found annoying. The ten bucks increase was no biggy but why did it go up 10 bucks and then a coupl eof weeks later its back at the lower price. I just figured its the type of thing you can get anywhere so get it at the best price possible.

In any case, sorry you weren't happy with UltimateZ.

True, but sometimes it's worth paying a little extra to go with a place known for good customer service.

My experience with Ultimate Z has been pleasant. I agree the wait on the popcharger was annoying, but they did tell me beforehand that it was on backordered. So that didnt bother me. Plus, it was $20 cheaper than anywhere else! Thats why UltimateZ Z rules!

Hell, they hooked me up. They gave me cost on a pair of spark plugs for my uncles z32tt. See I ordered a bunch of stuff at once, I needed some sooner than others. They had no problem shipping some of them them to me (at their cost) in a very fastly manner.

I'd go with Ultimate Z again definitely.

My only problem with Performance Nissan is their prices seem a little higher than the rest. If they can match/beat prices than it would be worth it. However, I am comfortable ordering from UltimateZ as stated.

I have no experience with Ultimate Z, but if you are a business man. Rule #1 is Customer Service. That is the ONLY way to make it.

Their customer service was A+ for me and I don't see that they were unresponsive to this guy either. Hate to see people trash a vendor for something so minor as a part not being in stock when he ordered. It has happened to me with Performance Nissan (shift ****) and you cant say their customer service sucks.

It isn't minor, it was the fact that they did not provide me with the information that the item wasn't in stock, and 3 weeks later, I asked, not demanded, faster shipping, and they told me that they wouldn't be making any money off of it. Breaking even and gaining a customer is much more important than making 10 bucks and losing a customer. That is the way business goes.

Mistakes does happen every now and then. I'm just sorry to hear this happen to you because these guys are down to earth and will help anyway they can. I send everyone to them and the good service keeps coming.

Well, I'd have to say that I'm with the original poster. I have been waiting 10 days for as much as a fart from this company and have received nothing. It is standard business practice that a customer isn't charged for an item until it has been received by the supplier/ or has been shipped to the consumer. My credit card was charged on day one..................as a matter of fact, I have already made a credit card payment on an item that I do not yet have in my possession. Absolutely pathetic customer service if you ask me. Thumbs down, and as standard practice, I will spread the word. Either "A" things will change, or "B" I'll enjoy making their lives a living hell. Either way, I feel better at the end of the day...........good day

Someone should move this thread to the "Vendor Reviews" section. There is nothing there for Ultimate Z yet.
