Arrow New wing/JWT/Coils, e46 M3's, e36 M3, S4 and a Race with an e46 M!! VIDEO

Yup heres what my car looks like as of now, wheels will be decided soon and some more asthetic mods will be rolling in for sure. This was a local Dyno day event which didnt turn out so well as the vid shows. The e46 M3 I raced had just a GruppeM intake and from around 60 to 100 it was good and then as soon as 105-110 came around I was SO ALL DONE.

Right click save as.

Cool video, but it sucked because of the traffic at the end. I have a question about the E46 M3 dyno. I remember reading a C&D article saying they were trying to dyno the M3, but it wasn't working right. They said BMW has the ECU setup where if the front wheels aren't turning as fast as the rears, an RPM limiter comes on (I think at around 6K rpms). They eventually solved it by calling up Dinan and they did something to the ECU. Did you guys have the same problem?

Yes. When the 04 M3 was dyno'd along with another 03, we had two BMW Master techs bring a $15,000 BMW ECU tool from the dealership that was able to put the car into a diagnostic mode that allowed it to hit redline on a dyno. Otherwise the car would only run to 6500 RPM.

When dyno'd, the 04 put down 290 whp with a Gruppe M intake and the 03 put down 280 bone stock.

Yup as CMT stated the silver M I raced had 290hp and 237tq which is pretty sweet for just a GruppeM intake. I need more "Go" mods now and a rematch

Default Nismo Now?

$270. 00 US Nismo vs JDM Nismo at $775.00..

I also want the rest of the kit. I can get the wing and sides in the US version, for the same cost of JDM wing. An since I plan to put
Nismo 18's on soon, It appears that I better wait, or it becomes one or the other.

Nice Brickyard, keep safe.
