Anyone who gets better than 16 mpg city or 26 mpg highway isn't driving their Z hard enough!

 

I can get 99.9mpg at 63mph consistently on my way to work. Theres a long winding hill on Rt. 46 in Jersey. I think 99.9 is as high as it goes, but then after that it drops right back down to like 50, then 30, then 17... lol

 

Igot 39mpg going down the grapevien coming home from "Z- CON" @around 80ish. Iget on average 15.7 day to day driving till I went to toluene 110 octain ( one gal. to 14 gals. of 91octian) I now get 18.6 av. same driving.

"O" yesterday I tuck 20.1 gals. (but i put the toluene in at hone and drove 2.1 miles to the gas station)so it mite not have gotten there ??????

(2) xevious--- ??55 in 6th gear -- What car do you drive 55 in 6th gear ,a SWOLLOW (an electric car mfg. by Corbin (the motorcycle saddle company). ---55 in 6th gear wouldn'''t it stall??? ha!

 

Highest I've seen in the trip meter is 35.4 MPG. I was going about 45-50 mph with 6th gear. Man it made me feel good since I rarely get more than 17mpg in real life driving situation of mine.

 

most i've got on continuous driving was a little under 33 mpg at 60mph on cruise in 6th

 

the highest i saw was 41.2mgp, i swear to god. after reading this forum, i tired out a few tests. I learned that i can avarge 36mpg if i'm in 6th gear with about 2500rpm, which is around 60mph. (correct me if i'm wrong) At first i thought it was a fluk so i tired it a few more times with the same results. However, in the end, due to city driving, my gas gauge seems to refuse the fact that its should be getting honda like gas mileage so I end up driving it hard anyway. but it was fun testing the Z.

 

One time I had mine show over 50 mpg for just a second after resetting it.
