Clear out lights or not?
Will you guys clear out the orange from the lights when your cars arrive?
The orange (amber) part of the lights don't look so bad...
I think I'll probably keep it.

I know I'll catch flack for this, and maybe even loose some respect (?) but... I like clear lights. I don't think it's too "rice" or whatever. I think they look good. I like Altezza's on some cars and I am pretty sure they'll be tight on my Z as well. If I could have the side markers like the Japanese cars are getting... me thinks I'd jump at that too.

Dude, clear lights are very nice...
Clearing out the lights are not considered as "rice"... Look at all the Euro cars. They have clear lights standard.

i have never tried to clear out the taillights?
Is it hard? What type of tools are needed?
I think i'm just going to focus on replacing the seats and finding out when my dealer can provide NISMO parts.
The kids where i live all have the cleared out taillights. Kinda ricey. But that's on 4 year old civics Maybe it will look good on the Z

I'll probably clear mine out. I think it may show up better on my lemans Z...either the oranges will clash or the detail will be lost...clear lights will add contrast and might look nice

i am definitely gonna keep my taillights stock. i like the chrome silver w/ red. however, i'm not sure about the orange lights . . . those may have to go clear. but not for a while, i guess it all depends on how it looks when i get it. duh.
but in looking at pictures of the front end, i was noticing that there is some orange in the housing for the headlight -- can that be cleared out? is that part of the turn signal? sorry if that's a dumb question.

I like the cleared out lights on some of the other cars I have seen. I am undecided as to weather I will mod my Z in this way. Afterall, is that not part of the fun, transforming you're Z to satisfy yourself ? time will see. ( there is no question forced induction is in my future when offered by nissimo )

I think what Bullish is refering to is the front headlights and /or lower corner lights on te Z and not replacing the rear "all red" tail-lights. AS for me, I think it looks "cleaner" with clear lights. btu the amber does add to the JDM look as well. Your car, your decision

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO ! ! ! ! ! !
Ok, how to say this in the least offensive way possible...
...If I wanted to slap cheap looking altezzas on a car, there is no way in hell it would be a $30k+ vehicle. This is going to be a great looking car off the truck. Come on guys, please don't screw this car up.

The lower lights on the front bumper... arent' that actually just reflectors? Anway I think it would be kewl to get those LED lights in them instead, like the Concept car had. I really liked the concept car with the LED lights on the handles too... red for locked, green for unlocked. hehe. Anyone interested in that LED light mod for the lower front bumper?
