I know that the odds of anyone having this problem is slim to none but I figured that it can't hurt to ask.

This morning I started my Z and instantly heard a rattle noise (metal on metal) that appears to come from the driver side engine compartment. My oil pressure looks fine and I don't think that it was a valve hanging. After a few minutes, it goes away and drives fine. At the end of the day, it did the exact same thing.

I am now letting it cool down since it appears that it only does this when it is cold.

Later this evening, I am going to have my wife start it an I will keep the hood open. Maybe I'll get lucky!!!

3200 miles. If a valve hangs up, will that go away afetr the engine warms up?
