Which is best dealer in the Houston area for ordering a Z? (By best, I mean the most honest - if there is such a thing - will sell a Z at MSRP or less [I doubt it]).
Your comments on your experience with your dealership would be helpful. Thanks
John

Last week I spent quite a bit of time at Robbins Nissan in Houston (off 59 and 1960) shooting the 'stuff' about the Z's.
They had two ready for delivery.
Both salesman I spoke with were extremely nice considering I have already ordered one here in Atlanta and was just looking.
One (a very young fellow) even took me back to his office and showed me the new Z brochures.
I guess if I were to buy a Z in Houston (been to three dealers there so far) I would favor them with my business!!
Hope that helps.

John,
I would assume that you'll find plenty of dealers in Houston who'll sell at MSRP without a fight.
However, If you do find it difficult to get a decent deal, and if you're willing to drive a few hundred miles, then you might try ELKINS NISSAN in Shreveport, LA.
I just placed my order there at MSRP. No dealer surcharges, no dealer prep, no nothing but sticker. Further, very friendly (ask for Luther Grissom) and very business-like. Highly recommended.

Mossy Nisan on I-10 is selling all pre-order cars that cancelled at MSRP. They don't seem to be jacking around with their customers at all.
If you go there, ask for Shannon Zillmer, he lurks and sometomes posts here.

Shannon is the man to see if you want a Z!
That is pretty catchy phrase!

Think I gave this response on another thread but here goes anyway (some people seem to get upset if you post a similar message two or more different places?):
I ordered my Silverstone Perfomance model from Baker-Jackson by the Astrodome back in March. Picked it up last week. My salesman did a great job of keeping me informed. I also had calls from both the the sales manager and the inventory manager.
When I picked up my Z, Shawn Inabinett (my salesman) gave me a very thorough run down of everything on the car - took us over 2 hours! On the first drive to fill up my car, he mentioned that Baker-Jackson is still doing MSRP ordering. They will charge over sticker for cancelled orders that come in but if you walk in and order, you can still get MSRP.
Highest recommendation to this dealership and it's personnel. Haven't had to use their service department yet so I can't speak to that yet.
Here's a link to photos when I picked up my car and a few other car pics:
