Default Feels Good, Z is paid for

Well, I just returned from the bank and paid my Z off. It feels so good not having a car payment anymore. Plus car insurance on both cars is paid for until Jan 05.

Now maybe I can convince the wife to let me get some Mods this summer. Wheels, Exhaust, DVD/Navigation, hmmm, what else?

Anyone else have their Z paid for? Feels good when you paid it off, didn't it?

Loving life!

Wooohoooo!!!! Congrats...It does feel good, doesn't it? I did the "single payment plan" when I bought my Track. Never wrote a check that big before. Sure was fun. The dealership treats you a whole lot different when you're paying cash for you car.

Lol, no just had the $ in savings and I wanted to save on the interest. I thought about it and a free DVD/Navigation unit popped in my head, so I was like, lets do this.

And you can tell those idiots at the gas station that ask you what your payment is "nothing", and watch them get confused

he he he....Actually, I got asked what my monthly payment was once and I told them, "My first payment was 35 thousand dollars, but I didn't like that, so I just don't pay them anymore." They looked at me confused and said, "Well, nice car...have a good day" and walked away.

Now THAT was priceless.

Heh. I'll remember that one. A guy asked me the other day how much I made.

Wow, congrats!

I was always told to finance for as long a term possible with the lowest interest rate and make extra payments each month to save on money spent towards interest. Also, I was told to never pay off the loan if the money in my savings/investments is earning a higher rate than the interest on the loan.

Either way thats gotta be a great feeling! Well, if you're ever bored or want to relive that same great feeling of paying off a Z, you can always pay mine off too, heh.

Yeah dude, you aint kidding, I get that all the time. When people say things like, "How can you afford that car?" and assume my parents paid for it, it feels great to say, "Hey, you could have one too in any color you want. Just work three jobs like I do..."

I get the same crap about being 22 and driving a Z. People assume my parents pay for it. I'm 22, graduated from college and work full time - I bought it.. not my parents... allthough I did use my 96 max as a trade in.. my parents bought that one.

Just refinanced my car from 6.99% to a 3.49% woohoo! i had 63 payments now i have 60 payments left. I just saved myself a whole grip load of money

Now as for being the young 20s (myself 21) owning a Z yeah I hate it cause I'm pretty sure majority of people think my folks bought my car, but no way I'm paying for it myself, but I do have to say I do live at home and I'm not ashame What's even worst is I love to wear hats and I wear them side ways upside down, inside out, you name it haha and it just gives the wrong impression to people sometimes, but hey ya know I did the half the work, but still I'm free to waer whatever I want
