LeMans Sunset- Comments and Photos
Well I have been trying to explan to others why I'm probably not going to accept my pre-order LeMans and I finally found a few more photos that illustrate my point.
I though I would share them and get some additional comments.
Every time I see a photo it looks like the one on the top and yet when I see it on the street (two so far) they look like the one on the bottom!
Hard to believe this is really the same color!!!

I have a lemans Z & I get nothing but great compliments.
When it's in the sun it looks like the your photo on top.
When it's not in the sun its more of a bronze color. Which I think I like better.
Here are 2 pics of the my car with the same camera 1 in the sun & 1 at dusk.

As you can tell, I have been collecting LeMans Photos from all over the place.
I guess the only thing to really do is wait and see the car in person, up close, not moving at 100 MPH

Z&J your crazy if you dont accept delivery of your preorder.Stop being scared of it no one collects that many pictures of one color if they dont like it.Your the only one who has more pics than me of lemansThose pics you show are just cloudy days.Look at this in the sunpic and tell me you dont want it.(Sorry im selling you now)Picture courtesy of rockit.

Really nice shots!
Perhaps the Z is not a great color in cloudy climates as it does not show off the car to it's full potential and so far (unfortunately) that has been the case each time I saw one.
My car will be here on the next truck, I'll reserve judgement until then
BTW, The Z has really brought out the photographic skills of a lot of owners!

I take that as a compliment!!! I have taken over 200 pics of my car already ... hehe. I'm still trying to find some exotic place to go and shoot some more. Might go to the mountains in VA this weekend to have some fun.
And believe me, the LeMans is ALL that. Everyone who has seen it so far has been blown away. The comments I hear the most 'wow, I can't believe it looks so good in person. I didn't think the orange would have looked so good. Really makes the car standout' It's totally worth it.
I picked up my car at night, and I was not too excited ... it was like 'well, looks like the color was a mistake, but the car rocks' but then I saw it in the morning, and it was like 'whoa!' Don't give it up.
bayarea-sunset, dude, THANKS I'm thinking about going to shutterfly.com to order a calendar with Z pics ... anyone interested? It would be pretty cool ... a different color for every month from different angles, and then a few interior and engine shots would complete it.

When you have complete strangers telling you what a great color the car is, then you know it is something special. Do you think all these silver owners are getting people saying, "oh man what an incredible color"? Don't think so. My latest was from the woman running the show at the SCCA Auto-X, she came over and said " I just want to let you know that color is FAN-TAB-U-LOUS!"

Z in your color up near Rockville -- I'm guessin' it was you. He
said it looked way cool, and now he's trying to convince me that
I ordered the wrong color (silverstone). I still like my choice,
but your car is hot!!

Any of you guys have the burnt orange interior? Mine is on the way with that combo (crossing my fingers for 10/14). I haven't seen a pic that shows the lemans color with the orange interior. I'm really curious to see or hear how well they match up.
