Default Question - Headlight Overlays ?

Hey guys, was wondering about a method to make the headlight appear to not have the amber piece on the side of it. I do not want to take my headlight appart, as i did that for my girlfriends taillight of her grand am GT, and it was a pain in the a**. I just don't feel comfortable doing that to my brand new 350z.

I found the eyelids, but i dont like the way they make the headlight look. I also recently saw Blue Batmobile's headlight overlays. Now those i like. Does anyone know how these are applied? Do you have to take apart the headlight to do this?

That looks to be some sort of mylar vinyl stuck to the housing.. I could be wrong, but I'm sure you could acheive this effect with some of that stuff.

I saw a pic of a blue Z with some black taillight covers it looked, now has anyone seen any of these floating around, or was that completely custom too?

No, they just stick on the outside. At least that is how all of Bat's other overlays work.

All my Overlays are made from 7 Year High Performance Vinyl. Extremely durable and lasts a long time with no fading or peeling. All Overlays mount to the outside surface. There is no need to remove anything to apply them correctly. Overlays can be removed if desired with no or minimal residue left behind. Application is Peel and Stick! All kits come with instructions.
